Ensure smooth functioning of the hotel concierge department
Minimum Requirements:

• ESSENTIAL 2 years’ experience in a 4 or 5 star establishment in a Concierge role
• ESSENTIAL 2 years’ experience within a supervisory capacity
• Matric certificate or equivalent
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality is preferred
• Additional language/s would be highly advantageous
• Fully computer literate in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Opera
• Knowledge of Front Office policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge of the local and surrounding attractions including major tourist attractions, theatre productions, excursions, etc. meet and exceed guest requests
• Ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders within the role, these include Front Office Management, Front Office team, guests, internal departments, etc.
• Responsible to oversee Porters, Drivers and Doormen and ensure execution of their tasks
• Oversee and enforce hotel policies and procedures among subordinates
• Ensure Leading Hotels of the World and Mystery Shopper compliance among subordinates
• Execution of IR, performance management, reward and recognition, staff training and succession planning for subordinates in consultation with Front Office Management
