Glee actress missing after boat trip with son
Naya Rivera, a 33-year-old actress, hired a boat on Wednesday to sail with her four-year-old son on Lake Piru northwest of Los Angeles, California.
The mother and child left the port around 1:00 p.m. Since then, we haven’t heard from the actress.
The boy was found alone on the small boat around 4 p.m., three hours later, by boaters.
The boy said his mom went swimming and never came back.
Her wallet was found in the boat and his car remained in the parking lot.
Everything suggests that the young woman drowned. A team of divers, drones and helicopters were deployed to the scene. But for the moment, we still have no sign of life from the missing.
Naya Rivera plays the character of Santana Lopez, a cheerleader student, in the six seasons of the Glee series.
A few hours before her disappearance, the young woman posted a photo of her and her son on Twitter with the message: “Just the two of us.”
