Requirements

6 + years’ payroll experience in the transport and logistics industry
Qualification in Sage VIP Payroll will be advantageous
Own reliable transport
Must reside in the following areas
Port Elizabeth
Uitenhage
Blue water Bay
Despatch
Attention to detail
Fully conversant in English and Afrikaans
Neat and presentable
Strict adherer to deadlines
Fully capable of using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Must work well under pressure

Duties and responsibilities

Daily capturing of Driver attendance and absenteeism
Capturing of payroll statistics such as leave, deductions sick leave overtime etc…
Prepare and manage payroll processes of employees.
Gather all payroll related data, leave, sick leave deduction forms etc…
Review and calculate timesheets data and hours worked.
Calculate salaries, wages and overtime wage sheets.
Create and run salary spread sheets and reports.
Manage, maintain and update payroll related data.
Update salary sheets and schedules.
Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries.
Submit payroll reports and sheets on time to head office for final processing.
Assist administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or
