Sandy, 33, burned alive by her husband has died
The facts took place last week on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in the street in Bully-les-Mines, in France.
Sandy, 33, was in the car with her husband when an argument broke out. The latter had sprayed it with gasoline before setting it on fire.
A resident, witness to the scene, had come to help with a blanket.
The victim had been taken to the burns service of the Lille University Hospital where she had been plunged into a coma. Sandy ultimately died on Tuesday from her injuries.
Quickly arrested, the man denied any intentional gesture during his custody. He said he just wanted to light a cigarette.
But he obviously did not convince the judge in charge of the case, since he is indicted for attempted homicide and was remanded in custody Thursday evening.
