Vince Reffet, “The Flying Man”, dies of free fall during training in Dubai
Vince Reffet, nicknamed “The Flying Man”, died Tuesday of a free fall during training at the Jetman base in the desert on the outskirts of the city of Dubai.
This 36-year-old man was renowned for his wingsuit and jetman flights (equipped with mini-jets). In 2017, he entered a plane in mid-flight. It was also he who had jumped from the top of the tallest tower in the world, the Burj Khalifa, 828 meters high. He had also flown alongside an A380 and even the famous Patrouille de France.
